Our true potential

Bu-do enables us to unleash our innate potential

What is our true potential?

It is said that we have 60 trillion cells.
However not all of them are not usually working and we are unable to make them work, with the result that we cannot perform to the maximum.

The fact that we are not using all our powers is substantiated by some examples.

In 1995, there was an earthquake which is called “Great Hanshin earthquake” in Japan.

There were a mother and her baby who lived in a two-story house. On that day their house collapsed while they were on the first floor, and the mother held her baby in her arms just before the baby nearly got crushed.

Normally they would got crushed because people cannot withstand the weight of a house which weighs several tons. It is impossible even for one of the strongest bodybuilders.

Miraculously the baby survived thanks to her mother, who passed away unfortunately.

The mother might have passed away after securing her baby’s safety.

“Bu-jutsu” reminds us of what we really can do

This is what humans can do.

There are such stories about herculean
strength around the world, like a woman lifted a car alone to save a person.

An experience of flashback at the risk of life will be a good example of our superhuman ability as well.

While working on ‘Bu-jutsu(武術),’ the Japanese martial arts, we can unleash our potential as above thanks to physical practices such as “kata(型),” or “waza(技),” our ancestors have cultivated and inherited at the risk of their lives.

One of the easiest ways to unleash your potential is to get your posture right. As the picture above, ladies in Japan could carry rice bags which weighed more than 300lb in the past. They made it possible by keeping a proper posture. Not only by doing so, but they were also blending into their surroundings and nature to become as one, they could carry such heavy stuffs more easily.

If you reach the high level, you will start to control space and time and gravity. As Einstein insisted in his theory of relativity, time and space are not absolute but relative. When you acquire and move with the laws of nature, you can embody the idea.

Bu-jutsu is a pile of wisdoms to survive. That is why it is one of the best ways to unleash our potential which was required for survival.
